Heidi and Reid Burkle were recently struck on the road by Ely, IA while riding bicycles. Reid has been released but Heidi is still in ICU with many hurdles to overcome. This fundraiser is to help overcome the financial issues this accident is and will cost the family.

Cory Burkle (husband/father) has been a college and high school official for many years along with working for the Cedar Rapids Fire Dept. and Heidi a nurse in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. They both have worked in the servant area of careers and are now in need. They have 2 children, Reid 13 who was involved in the accident, and Gabe,16. Both are students at Cedar Rapids Prairie.
